came for a visit. With them they brought his apron and an apron
his co-workers signed from Home Depot, a lovely memorial book,
a employee of the month certificate which was housed in plexiglass with a pin and
a huge sum of money from the employee for Christopher’s education fund.
His apron still had ‘his’ smell, I cried as I hugged it.
I plan to place the signed apron, the employee certificate, and some of
his customer service badges in a shadow frame. I think I may go to Michaels to have it done.
Rich would have been overwhelmed with the support his fellow co-workers have shown Christopher and myself.
He would have been overwhelmed with the sentiment, the respect, the loving thoughts and words about him.
I am proud my husband was well thought of as I know he was what his fellow friends said he was and more.
Christopher received a specially made monkey, it is really cute. It has real jeans, a real t-shirt with a hood that has two
wholes on either side to fit the ears. The monkey’s tail comes out the back of the specially made jeans. It has sandals
that are well made and it makes monkey sounds.
I will have to take a picture with him hugging the monkey and send it with the card to home depot.
Even though this morning was a little hard the day turned out ok. Christopher stayed home from school because
he wasn’t feeling very well last night and I didn’t want to risk him getting worse.
Tonight we laughed, we played a little and went outside during the times it didn’t rain. He is a blessing and comfort to
me.
He is off to grandpas tomorrow, as he was getting ready to go to sleep he says to me, " I got to sleep and when I wake up, I go to grandpa’s house."
He is a funny little boy. He pretends to be a cat, he meows, and uses his hands as paws to clean himself. I call him over and give him pretend cat treats and I pet him. He thinks this is funny!
Anyway another day down.
